Fantastic information you have on your family. I was born a McIntyre, my father was born in Mayo, Ireland but his father was born in Lancashire to an Irish mother, we have zero information on my father’s father unfortunately.

Great. It was with a lump in my throat when I saw my Grandpa and Gran , Richard and Marion Clifford, in this film. Marion was a native Gaelic speaker from a croft at the village of Edenbain in Skye and Richard was originally from Gravesend in Kent. They lived in Shore St and then in Collingwood Terrace at Nelson Rd path. They had children Richard, Marion, Mary, Doris, Edward, Ferguson, and also Annie who died as an infant. They attended Gourock High School and also St Bartholomews Church in Barrhill Road. Son Richard was a Captain in the Scientific Core based in Wiltshire and my Dad, Edward joined it also at the start of WWII. It was Britains answer to Chemical Warefare. Many cousins now live in Inverclyde and surrounding districts. Thanks for the memory, Best Regards // Eric Clifford

really enjoyed most of the clip but there was no mention of one of the best eras for Morton when they won the Scottish first division on two occassions and were top of the premier scottish league in 1979 and reached several semi finals, only a small mention of big Andy.

Totally agree, Bain,Holmes, Anderson, Tolmie and Andy Ritchie just some of the good players we had in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Always loved when Aberdeen paid a visit and we could get on Strachan’s goat.
